The inaugural Singapore Grand Prix was held at Thomsen Road from 1966 to 1973, today the event takes place at the well-known Marina Bay Street circuit. The first night race and first street circuit in Asia was introduced at the Singapore Grand Prix.

The circuit is the slowest of all the Formula One circuits, running at a normal race distance above 305km. With its technical sections, many quick direction changes and proximity to walls leads to frequent safety cars.

Located underneath Singapore’s longest bridge, the Benjamin Sheares Bridge, patrons at the new Bayfront Grandstand will enjoy fantastic views of the track.
